Solutions · Tokenisation

Registry-backed assets, issued as verifiable tokens.

Each unit is validated against its registry of record, issued with its full metadata, and retired on a permanent ledger. Provenance is a property of the token, not a claim in a brochure.

Why on-chain

For issuers, buyers and auditors alike

  • Provenance by default

Registry identifier, vintage, technology and location travel with the unit. Nothing is lost between issuance and retirement, and nothing has to be reconstructed from email.

  • Programmable settlement

Atomic delivery-versus-payment removes counterparty risk and the days of reconciliation that follow a conventional transfer.

  • Examinable audit trail

Every issuance, transfer and retirement is timestamped and verifiable, without exposing commercially sensitive counterparty data.

  • Cross-border by design

A buyer in one market can source verified supply from another without inserting a new intermediary into the chain.

Lifecycle

From certificate to retired unit

One pipeline underpins every asset class we handle. The controls are identical; only the registry and the verification body change.

  1. Onboard

Issuers complete know-your-business checks and link the registry accounts holding the underlying certificates.

  2. Verify

Certificates are matched against registry records and reviewed by an independent verifier before anything is issued.

  3. Issue & transfer

Verified units are issued one-for-one and made transferable within the restrictions the offering requires — whitelists, lock-ups and jurisdiction blocks included.

  4. Retire

Retirement cancels the unit and records the beneficiary permanently, closing the loop the registry opened.

Questions

Common questions

Which certificate standards are supported?

I-REC and other registry-backed renewable-energy certificates, with additional registries added as demand and independent audit coverage allow. Where a registry cannot support a locked-on-issuance workflow, we say so rather than work around it.

Can a unit be double-counted?

No. Each unit is backed one-for-one by a registry certificate that is locked at issuance and cancelled at retirement, with both events recorded on-chain. The registry and the ledger cannot drift apart because the same pipeline writes to both.

Who can participate?

Verified organisations. Onboarding includes know-your-business checks, and transfers are restricted to allow-listed wallets under the rules the issuing institution sets.

Who operates the platform?

The licensed institution does. Trilumi builds it, hands over the environment and the credentials, and supports it under access the client grants and can revoke.
